Launched in 2016, Braver Angels is a 501(c)(3) non-profit citizen’s movement to help heal the divisiveness currently existing in America. By creating opportunities for meaningful discussions ‘across the divide,’ Braver Angels works to dial down the heated rhetoric that gets in the way of real conversations and accurate understanding of our opinions and differences. The objective is not to push an agenda or change participants’ minds, but rather to provide a safe place for deeper understanding. 

Braver Angels offers  in-person programs and workshops through its community-based alliances like Central Maryland Braver Angels Alliance connecting Howard, Carroll and Frederick counties as well as virtual programs online. This local alliance was launched in 2022. Visit us on Facebook!
