Organizer and Assistant
Organizers are the heartbeat of Braver Angels teams. They bring people together, coordinate the moving pieces, and make our workshops and events possible. Whether the event is online or in person, organizers help create the welcoming, structured environment that allows Braver Angels conversations to thrive.
If you enjoy planning, teamwork, and keeping projects on track, this role may be a great fit. Organizers juggle details, communicate with volunteers and partner organizations, and help everyone move forward together. Flexibility, clear communication, and a good sense of humor go a long way—plans rarely unfold perfectly, and that’s part of the adventure.
Training and mentoring are provided. Time commitments vary, but once an event is underway, organizers typically spend 20–25 hours over several months guiding the process.
Assistant Organizers work side‑by‑side with the primary organizer to help plan and run Braver Angels events. Assistants usually support one event at a time, making this a great role for volunteers who want to contribute without taking on full leadership responsibility.
